Summary
Six years after returning from his unexpected journey, Bilbo Baggins is forced to flee the Shire when goblins invade. He and the four young Hobbit lads he brought to Rivendell with him were the only ones to escape and are shocked to learn that the rest of their people have vanished into thin air. As an alliance of Elves, Men, Dwarves, and a wizard search for their missing people, the remaining Hobbits are granted sanctuary in the Kingdom of Erebor. However, Bilbo’s journey back to the Lonely Mountain is long and treacherous, especially when he’s being pursued by a creature that’s after his blood. Well, his bloodline.

Hobbits have been wiped from existence- all except one.
At the cost of his mother's life, Bilbo has been spared.
Now, he must leave the only home he has ever known in an effort to strengthen the ties between Erebor and the Iron Hills. As Dáin II Ironfoot's adopted son, and only kin, Bilbo must enter a political marriage with Thorin, son of Thráin II, son of Thrór, King under the Mountain.
But, blood is not always thicker than the thrall of power, and not all history is written with pure intent.

Summary
Just some fics about Bilbo and Thorin's life together as Uncles raising their nephews.
Some backstory, Thorin is a firefighter and Bilbo is a writer. Fili and Kili were adopted by them first when their parents died in a car accident and then a couple years later Frodo was adopted after his parents drowned in a boating accident. Fili was five and Kili was three when they were adopted, Frodo was adopted three years later when he was two.- Words:

Summary
Bilbo had many surprises up his sleeves including how hobbits went about making their children. With Erebor on the rise and so many cultures and traditions being revived and learning to live together a new life might just be what holds the mountain together.
Of course no one said it was going to be easy. Especially when one considers what a child of Thorin Oakensheild and Bilbo Baggins can do.
