Simon was about to turn and high tail it out of there the second he got the chance. Because Ryland’s eyes were bright yellow, lighting up his face as he turned his head towards Simon.
Two pointed fangs were poking out from behind his lips, fangs!
As if it couldn’t get any worse, Simon was sure he could see a hint of red staining Ryland’s chin, illuminated by that soft glow from his irises.
Simon was going to shout and claw his own eyes out at this point.
