Right off the bat, the unlikely duo becomes friends, until a misunderstanding makes their friendship take a turn for the worst. Judy suddenly becomes the object of Nick's unwanted competition and mischief.

Summary
Nick Wilde doesn’t believe in the supernatural. Judy Hopps can’t seem to escape it.
A phenomenon that began on the outskirts of Zootopia has crawled into the city proper, turning what had once been a few alleged sightings of strange ‘creatures’ into numerous violent reckonings. Hospitals and jail cells filling as chaos grows, underestimated Officer Wilde strikes a deal with Reporter Hopps: they work together to solve this case for the benefit of both of their careers. After, they can go their separate ways.
But the further the pair go, the more harrowing things become, the deeper new bonds extend. And if Hopps and Wilde fail to track down the monster creating such dark confusion, the fate of every single soul in the city is doomed. No pressure, right?

Summary
The Zootopia Police Academy is grueling, agonizing, and exhausting. It's hard. It's certainly not for everyone...one could argue, it's not really for anyone. No one in their right mind would train that hard to be a police officer unless they were absolutely certain it was their life's calling, that there's nowhere else they're supposed to be.
Unless you're Nicholas Wilde, your life's calling is two and a half feet of over-enthused rabbit with a three-day long itinerary, and the place you're supposed to be is right by her side.
