Suddenly it's like he's fifteen again, wearing Robin's bright colors. He can almost feel the rain on his skin, the chill in the air, the only source of heat the body behind him. His favorite Robin, back from the dead and intent on cutting him up to pieces for taking his place. He remembers the confusing rush of terror and hope, heartbreak and longing.

Bruce watched in shock as something inside the suit seemed to struggle to get free, turning in small circles and plopping over several times.
With shaking hands and bated breath, he reached out to undo the small zipper. Just a little. Retreating his hands enough for a small black nose to poke out of the neck hole. It sniffed curiously at the fresh air outside of the Kevlar. Soon it was followed by a little white snout, and finally big puppy dog eyes were staring back at him.
A dog? No... A puppy?!
Or,
The one where Superman gets turned into a literal puppy during a fight, and Bruce can't help but see the irony of it.
