Clarke didn't have time to aim, she didn't even have time to see if the bullet actually hit Bellamy, because at the exact moment the shot was fired, the green light blinded her and consumed her completely.
She woke up with a start.
The first thing she noticed was the slight tingling sensation on her wrist, as if small needles were piercing it, when she took her eyes to her arm, she could see the bracelet that had been in her memories for over 100 years, it was the wristband that they gave to the 100 before sending them to the earth.
Before she could even think about it, the extremely familiar voice reached her ears, making Clarke's eyes widen as she recognized it. "Welcome back."
Slowly, she then turned to her side, seeing the person who tormented her dreams from time to time, with a light smile on his face and strangely still familiar eyes.

Ainsley Ashter was a freak-show. A psychopath. An absolute and utter maniac.... Or so they thought.
She was imprisoned at the age of thirteen when she murdered her parents using nothing but the metal leg of her bed, and her bare hands. They think that she did it because she had a fascination with death - which she does. She thinks that the idea of death is fascinating, and wants to know what happens when you do. This only adds to her "crazy factor" as the guards on the Ark say. She was put in solitary, not to speak to anyone or anything for the rest of her life... Which didn't really help the whole "insane" thing.
When they made the announcement that they would be sending one hundred delinquents to the uninhabitable ground of a mysterious planet, everyone is automatically weary of Ainsley. In fact, they sedated her before they even told her the news because they thought she would try to kill someone again. That is what the guards and children on the ground alike think of her. That she is a murderer who kills simply for the fun in it.
They couldn't be more wrong.

Not a single person present, whether they were shaking uncontrollably in the crowd or raising their arms in victory as electric sparks rained down around them, really knew what quite to expect next. But what did happen next, nobody possibly could have anticipated.
Someone laughed.
It was just a little snicker, something that normally would've been lost in the din of the crowd, but it rang like a gunshot in the deafeningly quiet street.
Doom had to scan the crowd for several tense seconds before he finally located him. The grinning teenage boy, shaking with poorly repressed laughter.
When he noticed Doom staring at him, he only laughed harder.
“I--I'm sorry, Doom?” he managed to get out, between gasps for breath. “That's what you decided to call yourself? Doom?”
