Summary
Dick looked at his younger self; the way his brow twisted up in so much anger and his was chest heaving with pure vitriol. Dick remembered what fury like that felt like. He remembered the way it burnt in his throat. He used to spew that poison at Bruce all the time, hell even the Titans had gotten the bad end of his temper more than once. And yet, Dick couldn't place the last time he had been mad like that. Nowadays, all his anger died into withering flames of resignation and compromise more often than not.
But he could feel that rage bubbling up now, watching his teenage self tear his family apart. He was ruining it. Tim and Stephanie were huddled together nervously, Damian's eyes were wide, and Bruce's fists were clenched tightly. Why was he ruining it?
In that moment, Dick had never hated himself more.

“Ah shit,” Stephanie's unmistakable voice, the same stunted line, the same disappointed tone, “He's breathing again.”
The Joker coughs. It rattles at his broken ribs, making him choke on the blood and sick in his mouth, but it's proof of his victory — so the cough morphs into a sickening laugh. He says something that's more of a grumble than words, but Helena clicks her teeth loudly.
“We should have let him die,” She says stiffly.
Bruce closes his eyes for a moment, disappointment found in the creased stress of his face, then, relief.
Despite Dick's best efforts, Joker is alive. Again.
(Dick kills the Joker. Then again. And again. And—)

Hood moved closer to the mirror, placing both hands on the edges of the full-length mirror, and looked carefully. His eyes narrowed as he examined the reflection. "What THE HELL does this mean?!?"
The other Jason (the one from the alternate universe) raised an eyebrow in confusion. He too was standing in front of a full-length mirror in his mansion, but the image before him had changed. His eyes widened in shock. His heart started pounding as he stared at the strange figure that appeared in his mirror. "W-what... what d-does this mean?"
Hood rolled his eyes. One of his hands slowly reached toward the mirror. His fingers were almost covered in blood and dirt. As he was about to touch the reflection, the other Jason (the one from the alternate universe) hesitated, but mimicked the same gesture. The boy in the mirror slowly brought his finger closer to his reflection.
Their fingers touched.
A vibration was felt.
A flash of light erupted.
And now, there were two Jasons in the same universe.

It wasn't a shock to have his father answer Dean's phone in his stead, but it did chill Sam to his core when his father told him that Dean had been missing for months.
Now, forced back into the hunting life beside the man he tried so desperately to escape, Sam must hide his growing powers, and find the demon who took his mother, his fiancée, and perhaps, even his older brother.Rowena had cast the spell perfectly, powered by Jack and Amaras' combined energy. The portal to the Empty had opened. Finally, after a full year of searching, Dean was going to bring Castiel home.
But the Empty exists outside of time and space, as do all omnipotent deities. What was a mere 15 years to something that was considered ancient before Chuck and Amara even existed?
Now, flung backwards in time by the oily bastard, Dean finds himself in 2005, with an unconscious seraph in his lap, and the drive to hide his angel away from whatever trauma-filled writings that Chuck could come up with. -

She tears her eyes away long enough to stop coughing, and when she looks back she's hoping like hell she imagined it or that the news anchor who's she's watched for years will do something wildly out of character, like mention this is all some weird prank.
But he does neither, and when she looks up, the picture of Dean Winchester cheesing it for the camera is still there right next to the news lady imploring anyone who's seen this man to call the police immediately.
A rising sense of hysteria is beginning to swell in her chest as she stares at the TV, waiting with each passing second for someone, anyone to say this is a joke. Something some intern cooked up or- Or something because there is no way her local news station is warning her seriously about a fictional character, who fictionally murders people. Well, Dean didn't really murder anyone in this case but that's not the point.
Because Dean Winchester isn't real.
