Summary
Vi moved through the house like a ghost. Restless and unsettled, a flash of dulled colour floating from room to room. A whisper that when Caitlyn turned her head, she would just be in time to catch the wisp of her turning a corner. For someone so broad and capable of explosive violence, she was surprisingly stealthy.
Healing takes many things: time, patience, and… space. Caitlyn’s trying to accommodate what she thinks Vi needs to heal after losing Jinx while utterly failing to consider what she needs. Too much space creates its own problems.

“What?!” she hissed, eyes darting to Vi, whose steady gaze burned into her.
“Pull the trigger, cupcake.”
Caitlyn’s breath hitched. “Are you out of your mind? No!”
Vi exhaled, almost amused. “Fine then. I will.”
Before Caitlyn could react, Vi yanked her close, pressing the gun to her own chest and pulling the trigger. A sharp click echoed in the silence.
Nothing.
Caitlyn stared, horrified, as Vi shrugged.
“That’s what loving you feels like,” Vi murmured, voice quiet. “It’s handing you a loaded gun, pointing it at my heart, and hoping you never pull the trigger.”
