Summary

Summary
If someone had told Satoru a week ago that his impulsive choice to adopt children would lead to him standing at his front door, ready to welcome his ex-boyfriend—who also turned out to be his lawfully wedded husband—who was going to move in with him for three months in an elaborate ruse to deceive an orphanage director and a social services officer into believing they were still a couple in love, Satoru would have simply laughed in disbelief.
In which Satoru Gojo decides to adopt two children, only to discover that he accidentally married his ex-boyfriend, Suguru Geto, during a drunken episode just months before their breakup. Now, they find themselves living together, forced to maintain the facade of a loving couple. This leads to a series of petty tricks, cringe-worthy pet names, and the unexpected challenge of raising children together.

Suguru at least has the grace to look a little ashamed. “Yeah,” he admits. “Pretty much.”
Shoko does not have a large enough liver to metabolize the alcohol she needs to deal with these two chucklefucks.
Nor does she have a large enough heart to hold their hands and gently lead them in the right direction, which is why she just sucks down a mouthful of smoke, holds it in her lungs until it starts to burn, and then turns her head to the side and blows it all out in one harsh plume before she announces, “Satoru thinks you’re going to dump him.”
Suguru blanches. “He what?”
Shoko Ieiri cannot emphasize this enough, but - her best friends are idiots.

Summary
Satoru is a Grim Reaper. He’s good at his job. He’s efficient, professional (mostly), and just the right amount of charming.
But when he arrives at a hospital to collect his next soul, he finds a problem. Geto Suguru, very much alive, sitting up in bed, staring straight at him.
“Hey,” Suguru says, blinking. “You lost?”
Satoru, who has never been seen by a living human before, panics. He drops his scythe. Suguru picks it up. The hospital fire alarm goes off (probably unrelated).
And somehow, instead of taking Suguru’s soul, Satoru ends up…dating him.
