Summary
A group of men, some wearing orange, others wearing blue scrubs were to the left, on the other side of the fence. Some are moving containers and materials from trucks, some loading what looks to be bricks of tied licence plates onto another. One of them was looking directly at Shane.
His mop of blonde curls fall into his eyes, over a tattoo that peaks out from his temple. His muscles bulge out the tight orange uniform he’s wearing, skin tanned and covered in black ink. He can’t see any of the characters from this distance, but from the shape of them, he can tell they’re not from the latin alphabet.
But what he can see from this distance is the dark look in his eyes, as he rubs his gloved hands together and watches Shane walk into the prison. He looks like a lion who’s analysing a cut of fresh meat, deciding the best way he can sink his teeth in and tear it to pieces.
Shane watches him back until he’s walked past him, and not wanting to trip over his own feet, has to tear his eyes away so he can watch where he’s walking. Even so, he can still feel that man’s eyes on the back of his head.
or, Incarcerated Hollanov AU. Shane and Ilya meet in a prison in Boston.

Summary
Survivor. Victor. Killer.
Shane Hollander’s life ended the moment he won the Hunger Games. Now, he’s a ghost in a victor’s mansion, a hollow shell haunted by the faces of the dead and a guilt that eats him alive.
Ilya Rozanov was forged in the blood of his Arena, reborn on his dying breath. He clings to life by a thread, masking his own shattered pieces with brutal charm and a self-destructive fire that lights up the Capitol nights.
Forced into a public rivalry, their staged hatred ignites a secret, desperate passion in the shadows. But rebellion is in the air, and in a nation that bleeds its children for sport, love is the most dangerous rebellion of all.

Summary
Ilya Rozanov stands in the doorway, blood dripping from his nose. It’s splattered on his shirt too, red and dark. Fresh, if Shane had to guess. His knuckles look cut up, and his left eye looks slightly swollen, like someone had landed a punch there recently.
“I need a drink,” he says, accent thicker than usual. “A strong one.”
