A voice spoke up that made Tommy freeze like a rabbit in the documentary Techno had let him watch.
He couldn’t hear the words. But the hissing sound of the Warden’s mask was audible through the walls, and it made Tommy want to sob.
The Warden was the one in charge of the place Tommy had been kept. He wasn’t… he wasn’t mean, not as mean as the guards were sometimes, but he was big and scary and he wouldn’t let Tommy go and -
… And he was out there with the Syndicate.
Or: Tommy finally has a home with the Syndicate, but his powers are strong enough that the heroes will stop at nothing to recapture him. The whole family takes offense to that.

Summary
“What’s there to enjoy?” Tommy said, his tone holding the aching bitterness of a soldier who’s seen it all, who’s fought on a battlefield where every mistake leads to death. But the people around him would be none the wiser, for Theseus is just a kid.
An insignificant kid, tossed away when someone other than him deemed it fitting. Truly, what’s there to enjoy when Tommy has such a fate waiting for him?
There’s a shifting noise beside him as Technoblade props himself up to lean further against the wall. Tommy glances at him curiously, finding he has his head tilted upward and his eyes closed in thought.
Then, crimson eyes met Tommy’s. And very seriously, he said: “books.” As if it was some secret code the two were sharing,
Tommy stared, taken aback. “books?” He echoed.

Or: Tommy gets isekai’d into a fantasy world and becomes a character fated to die. But he has no idea that the people meant to kill him actually love him to death.

Summary
It’s not an exaggeration to say that Tommy was as dangerous as a teenager can get. His power was “molecular combustion”. Essentially, he was able to make molecules in objects speed up to the point that they exploded. Every single time he’d used his power, it’d usually have been by accident. He never wanted to blow things up, he was just cursed with it.
That’s why he’d been recruited to be a hero. It was to protect him from himself.
Or, so he’d been told.
or
Tommy is recruited to be a hero, but gets backstabbed by those same heroes and is now a criminal.
SBI decides to take him in, (with one villain seemingly a little too familiar.)
But it's not so he can be a villain of course... right?

Summary
“Ten Days.”
Tommy looked up, narrowing his eyes. His heart beat in his chest, a steady rhythm that sounded in his ears. Ten days? A smug skip in his heart made him lean back in his chair, shoulders relaxed. Ten days was not nearly enough to earn his trust. It’d be a simple defeat, one Tommy could take pride in being the victor of. So he offered the man a grin and nodded, extending a hand towards his already open palm. “Ten days.” He agreed, and they bobbed their hands in agreement.
Too bad Tommy would be gone in six.
Or, in other words,
Tommy's a hero who runs into SBI villains and they slowly figure out he's their lost brother. Tommy, however, decides that they're just weird people who strangely have pictures of his mom and have a dad who looks just like him.
