He rounded the corner towards the square right in front of the Temple– it was different than before because there had never been a square in front of the Temple.
Obi-Wan froze in place the moment he looked up. His eyes observed the large statues one by one.
Plo Koon, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto– they were all Councillors during the War.
Obi-Wan stood in front of the statues as tears welled up in his eyes. He hadn’t seen them in a long time and these statues looked exactly like them. From facial features and expression down to the way they were seated– as if they were in a regular Council meeting.
“Look Uncle Ben! It’s–” Obi-Wan leaped to Luke and covered his mouth before he could say anything else.
“Yes, I see, it’s General Kenobi.” He hoped the beings whose attention was drawn towards them would move on quickly. “But try not to shout, Luke, alright?”
His eyes left the boy to observe the statue of himself.

Or in which the Clones take over the Empire and Obi-Wan hears rumours about the whole ordeal which causes him to head back to Coruscant.

After the Council refuses to train Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi leaves the Jedi Order and everything he ever wanted to follow his Master’s dying wishes. Together, Obi-Wan and his new… student? brother? son? friend? (He still hasn’t quite figured that one yet), return to Tatooine to free Shmi Skywalker (because what else could they do?). It… Doesn’t go exactly to plan (per usual).
Things escalate quickly and, well, Jabba the Hutt is dead and Obi-Wan is now the most wanted man in the Hutt-controlled part of the Galaxy.[...]
Jango Fett didn’t really need money, so exorbitant and rising price on the Jabba murderer’s head was not what drawn him to the contract. It was the rumours that the rouge Jetti was responsible and if Jango hated anything, it was the Jetisse.
If he was getting payed to drag one to the Hutts, to die a slow, honorouless death on the top of a generous payment, even better.
In hindsight though, he probably should have left Boba on Kamino. In hindsight, he should have thought twice before having one night stands with hot, red-headed strangers right before the start of a hunt.

It's been ten years since the Fall of the Jedi Order, the beginning of the Empire. Obi-Wan is a tired old man (he is only 35 but you get him), he lost everything to the Empire, his family, his friends, his life. Now he only moves cargo for a living, trying to keep a low profile, just surviving. He just left some cargo in a system and is back on his ship, he just jumped to hyperspace, thinking he is finally alone when-
"Where are we going?”
Anakin Skywalker, rebel, a menace to everyone and himself, had just gotten some important info from an empire facility and his ship destroyed in the process, had jumped into the first ship he saw (Obi-wan’s) to get out of the planet and he was DEFINITELY not going to steal it before Obi-Wan jumped in and he had to hide. Now Obi-Wan has a stowaway he has to decide what to do with, and everything about him screams trouble.
