And then, as he turns his head to ask what his idol, his hero, the love of his life, could possibly want out here in the middle of nowhere, Adrian jumps in his seat as he finds that Chris' handsome, chiseled face is right there, just inches away from his own, and before he knows it, the guy is giving him a light peck on the lips and all Adrian can do is stare, wide-eyed, in complete and utter shock.
It's only a second. One second of pure unmitigated lip-on-lip contact, but before he can even register it, Chris pulls away and immediately tells him, "Don't be weird, dude."
Takes place during episode 4, in which Chris and Adrian take a detour during the drive to see Chris' father in jail.

Harcourt begins to nod, then stops. She chews her lip and looks past Chris' shoulder at Adrian, who's currently busy cramming as many marshmallows into his mouth as he can fit. Upon meeting her eyes, he freezes.

Days later, his father's lawyer shows up at Chris's door bearing an inheritance settlement and a threat: sign over ownership of his dad's house to the Aryan Empire, or be prepared to defend it. As Chris struggles with what this inheritance might imply about his father's feelings for him, Harcourt adds more pressure by forcing him to see a psychologist. Could renovating his dad's house, going to therapy, and confronting his increasingly complicated feelings for Adrian somehow finally be enough for Chris to find peace?

The silence stretched. Chris knew he should feel bad that he had snapped at Adrian instead of ‘communicating his needs directly’ but god, Adrian didn’t know when to be quiet. The man could barely pick up on sarcasm, it wasn’t like social cues were his strong point—

Chris opened his eyes. Adrian was leaning forward, smiling slightly, watching him with a sharpness he usually reserved for criminals. Behind his lopsided grin and coke-bottle glasses, the man looked dangerous. Chris’ mouth dried out, and not because of the weed.
----------------------------Five times Adrian said yes when Chris wanted sex and one time he said no. Now with more feelings, and an extra dose of make up sex, because I couldn't leave them like that.

Almost grey against his skin, where he had been turning pinker and pinker since Chris had begun to inspect him with a sort of curlool authority that clearly annoyed and aroused Adrian.

“He took it real hard, Chris. When you stepped through the door and tried to leave us forever, he was heartbroken, man. And I mean it. Heartbroken.” Her head bobbed with the last word, her eyes comically wide as if she was trying to mentally channel knowledge into Chris’ thick skull.
It did not work. “I doubt it.” Chris laughed, feeling the back of his neck break into sweat. “He doesn’t function like that. He’s a fucking machine.”
“He’s definitely something,” Ads said. “But he was sobbing. Ugly sobbing, into my neck. Like, torrential. He had a lot of shit bottled up.”
“Adrian doesn’t cry.”
“He does now,” Ads said. “Over you."

Adrian hadn't called. He hadn't texted. Not since Chris had got back in one piece from the other dimension. And all Chris could think about, after Ads had brought it up, was that he'd made him cry.
