Summary
You know the feeling of like... there's a party juuuuuuust across the street. The music is bumpin'. It's going down. You think one of them might have brought a gorilla? It's wild. Crazy over there. Then a brick comes through your window?
Take that feeling and scale it up, and keep scaling it until it's overwhelming vastness begins to replace all memory and thought, and that's what it's like being in the apartment complex across from Sam's.

Summary
Prologue: The secrets of the Playtime Company are deep-seated in the earth. Experimentations, torture, coercion and murder were everyday occurrences. It took the Hour of Joy to end one horror and replace it with another. Death became the only true Salvation, the only true Freedom. But they say sometimes a place so rooted in darkness, fear and pain can bring the attention of greater forces to it; and something out there in the universe decided a long time ago that second chances at a good life was well deserved.
Summary: When DogDay died after being taken over by the mini-Critters, he thought that was the end. But he was surprised when he opened his eyes again to a new world, so familiar to the one he was trapped in, but also so much freer and safer. It's a world where the children of Playtime Co were given a second chance to live, without the tortures of their previous lives. As more characters join their new world, tendrils from the old one reaches in and threatens to destroy their lives once more. It is up for the tortured souls of Playtime to make another stand against the forces that threaten their happiness and peace.

or, during the USJ attack, Shouta ends up in in a strange apartment building in a strange world. He just has to hold out for 15 days, or so Sam, the man that rescued him, says. But when Sam is killed by one of the monsters that fill the building, what is Shouta supposed to do?
This may not be his dimension, but there are people that need protecting, and with Sam gone, someone has to step up to the plate.
