Summary
'Everyone had stopped their squabbling and turned their attention to the now upright sitting teen on the couch. He rubbed his head as he slowly stood up. He looked around before turning towards the onlookers, no doubt taking in the chaos of rejuvenated gems running around like maniacs. Lapis felt relief for a moment. He was alive, and moving, and ok! Greg pushed past Bismuth and her, his eyes were suddenly red and looked on the verge of spilling tears.
"Thank goodness you're ok! We were beginning to worry! Look, I know things are bad bud, but we’ve got a plan! Right Bismuth?"
However, any joy was quickly stomped out when the boy stared at the three huddled figures behind Greg, then to Greg himself, looking in thought for a moment.
"Huh?”
His eyes glossed over them again, probably noticing their faces falling. He quickly extended his hand, attempting to do damage control. While confused, his face fell into a warm, open mouthed smile.
“I‘m Steven! It’s nice to meet you!"
To say an uproar followed would be a gross understatement. '

Summary
Steven tried. He really had. He tried his best, but his bubble still wouldn't form. He didn't know whether it was because he was stuck inside - what did Jamie call her? - this quagmire of yellow, or because of how much stress he was currently under.
Everyone's lives depended in his ability to use his bubble to make the two Topazes unfuse, but what if that didn't work? Steven really should've thought of a plan b. But unfortunately he doesn't have one and can't think properly with how hard he's trying to form his bubble.
He distantly heard the ship door close, but paid no mind to it. He had to concentrate! The ship slightly rocked, having been stopped by a powerful force. But again, Steven paid no mind.
Eventually a pink light appeared, centering on him. He smiled, yes! His plan was working!
That is until Aquamarine noticed the strange pink glow, and used her beam to hold him, Topaz, and all the other hostages still.
The pink glow faded, and so did Steven's hope of escape.

It analysed the foreign substance trapped within its crystal. It generated itself from fragmented light and DNA, and used it to mend the microscopic pieces missing from itself like mortar between bricks.

Summary
The Diamond Authority comes to Earth when they find the possibility that Rose Quartz might still be alive. They don't find Rose, but they do find Steven, who is a newborn baby. To save his life Pearl tells the Authority that Steven is Pink Diamond. The Diamonds take Steven back to Homeworld and raise him as a Diamond, leaving the Earth as a ticking time bomb with the cluster at its core.

Steven sank into the warm water of the tub, swiftly shutting off the valve with his other hand. The diamond essence swirled around his torso in shivers of yellow, blue, and white, enveloping him in a hug. Tears streamed from his eyes and into the water, pink now bleeding into the colors below. A sob wrecked through him. His eyesight was coming in and out, his nervous hands shaking. The pink glow was merely mocking him in return. His knees pressed themselves inwards, arms hugging them close. “Please work.” he murmured, a hiccup escaping his frame. “Please.” His eyes shut tight. His hand picked at the new scales on his right arm, itching. They were getting worse.
Or, Steven starts to corrupt with any strong emotion. Chaos ensues.
