—a sudden thought overtook him as his fingers delicately traced over raised skin and stitches. His mortality was incredibly fragile and very real. He could die like this. He could die like this.
Or in other words, Geto Suguru's slow decent into insanity.

Suguru thinks back to their old plans and wonders why is Satoru there, why did he choose that one to enroll in, why is he standing behind the desk already. Yet, on the spot, he can't help but ask, “Do you know Satoru?”
Shoko frowns. She forces him to take a step back and then pushes her index finger in the center of his chest, above his ribs, feeling his frantic heartbeat under the sweatshirt he is wearing. “Do you know Gojo?” she asks in return. “And you call him Satoru?”
