Summary
Jason gets it, gets the space between them, the way Red Robin keeps his distance. Of all the ways Jason fucked up when he first got back to Gotham, Pit-mad, green-tinted, and chock-full of Talia’s half-truths, breaking into the Tower and nearly killing a kid is the one he regrets the most. Dick or B probably would say something pointed about regretting committing multiple homicides and putting heads in duffel bags, but Jason doesn’t regret any of those deaths one bit. Maybe he’d choose a different duffel bag, but that’s about it.
OR
The one where Oracle calls Red Hood and Red Robin in to deal with a Crane-shaped incident at the docks, a brand new strain of fear toxin is released, and Jason is horrified to discover that he’s NOT Tim’s worst fear.

Kon’s voice was hushed, frenetic, his entire focus on the bird in his arms, as if nothing else existed in the entire world but Robin, Robin, Robin.

Kon was using his TTK to keep all of Robin’s organs and blood inside where it was supposed to be. Kon was keeping his heart pumping, his lungs breathing, his blood flowing, his nerves deadened against the agony.
Kon was holding Robin’s life in his hands in a very literal sense.
Clark felt sick.

Summary
Tim’s spleen wasn't the only thing he had lost in the desert that night.
The Widower left him with an injury that had forever altered his life, but Tim had adjusted. He was fine, great even. His only worry was how his family would react when he eventually found Bruce and went back to Gotham.
But to his surprise (and relief), they never even mentioned it. They carried on as if everything was normal, and that's what Tim had wanted. At least, he thought it was.
Until an incident in the field reveals a secret Tim didn't even know was a secret, and now he is forced to deal with all the emotional blowback he thought he had avoided.
Or,
Tim loses a leg in the desert. He really thought his family had noticed.

Jason watched Tim take those same cautious, calculated breaths in the Tower all those years ago. He’s a tough kid, and though he would never admit it out loud, Tim was tougher than Jason was at his age. When the second Robin called out for Bruce, sobbing under the downward swing of a crowbar, the third bird was holding his own against the Red Hood, fighting back and breathing steadily all the while. So when Tim says “fine” after drawing in an unwavering lungful of air, Jason knows he’s lying through his goddamn Bristol-perfect teeth."
