Summary
While on a mission storming a HYDRA facility, James Buchanan Barnes touches one of the many strange alien devices collected by the Red Skull. He does this, in fact, twice— in the past, and in the future.
Next thing he knows, Bucky Barnes is opening his eyes in the 21st century, which is full of great gadgets and coffee, and at least includes his old pal Steve. (And, inexplicably, a different Stark.) Meanwhile, the Winter Soldier finds himself in the middle of World War Two, helping Captain America hunt down HYDRA (which is at least familiar), pretending to be Bucky Barnes (which is not), and figuring out the very noisy group of soldiers who call themselves the Howling Commandos.

Or, after being defeated, Narinder storms out of The Lamb's village and builds himself a refuge in Darkwood. He would have been content to sulk there for the rest of eternity—but, with the sudden disappearance of The Lamb, plans change; and now Narinder is on a journey to find and take back his crown.

Stripped of his divinity, his body unraveled, his mind hollow—Narinder is reduced to nothing but a lingering shadow, clinging to the only tether he has left. The Lamb, unaware, carries on. Never questioning the strange weight in their cloak or the eerie surge of power at their fingertips. And all the while, the shadow watches, waiting, instinct guiding it toward something long forgotten.

Summary
Something goes wrong. The crown is split during Narinder's defeat, splitting the power between him and the Lamb.
Narinder keeps a portion of his godhood, and the Lamb finds that abilities they had access to before are no longer possible: Healing is cut short. Powers are halved. And there is a very real chance of perma-death, as the ability to resurrect is not possible without full power, and the God of Death is not cooperative.
Afterlife and Purgatory are not options either. Dying means erasure. Gone.Lambert knows Narinder grows stronger by the day, crown or not, and yet keeps him spared as they try to figure out how to complete their own goals. Narinder vows vengeance on the lamb for usurping him. After a few unsuccessful murder attempts, he's in for the long haul. It is only a matter of time before the Lamb's guard is down before he can strike, and The One Who Waits is very patient. When a mystic being demands they save the bishops from purgatory, an alliance is in order.
Except...the lamb's actions and their presence begin to unlock abilities within the God of Death he didn't know he had prior to his imprisonment, among other fickle things, like emotions. The prophecy didn't warn him of that part.

It has been three Ages and then some since Celebrimbor last saw Narvi, and a good deal of that time he spent in the Halls of Mandos. So it's really not that much of a surprise that he now finds himself hesitant to enter the Halls of Aulë, which seem so much more, well... real.
If there is anyone he would brave such crushing weight for, though, it is Narvi.

Summary
Ever since they returned from Kannabi Bridge, Rin's teammates have been acting weird.
Kakashi's suddenly somehow loosened up, he's reading pornography in public, and he's making jokes. His coolness factor has gone down drastically! Obito's prone to long sullen silences, and his usual cheerfulness seems... forced. And there seems to be some sort of one-sided tension between the two. Plus Rin can't go anywhere without Obito following her.
What's a girl to do? Figure out what the hell's going on, and get her team back to normal!
Or, the one where Kakashi and Obito are sent back to the past and think no one is the wiser. Their younger counterparts, due to a seal quirk, end up in their bodies.
It spirals from there.
