Summary
They strived to create a serum that would turn even metahumans with passive gifts into something more useful, but success was elusive. The prototype batches were too toxic, too harsh for the young bodies of their subjects to endure for long, thus leaving them with no definite results they could use to improve their formula. Until one day where fortune smiled upon them, a young teenager who applied for a janitorial position was discovered to be a metahuman with a gift that would make him the perfect test subject.
They dreamed of creating the world's first metahuman weapon...and they succeeded.

Summary
The Brotherhood of Evil has at last been defeated, but now the product of one of their earliest atrocities has fallen into the Teen Titans' hands: the single successful result of years of human experimentation, a young teenager named Otto von Furth. A teen much better known by the name Plasmus. Refusing to let the– mostly– innocent boy trapped within the monster share the fate of the rest of the Brotherhood, the Titans take him back with them to their base of operations, hoping to find a way to rehabilitate this 'villain' and end the threat he poses. Perhaps even convince him to fight for their side instead.
But some wounds run far deeper than they had ever suspected, some mistakes are not forgiven so easily.

Aesop’s body froze in horror, his eyes tearing from the corpse in front of him to hover over Jerry who came forth with vials of blood and tubes usually used for draining bodies of their fluid or filling them with embalming fluid.
