Summary
All John had ever wanted to do in life was fly but after he is caught in flagrante with a fellow Air Force Academy cadet, he is expelled and his dreams dashed. His father offers him an olive branch to come home again and John realizes that he still has choices.
Years later, the MCRT are assigned the murder of a US Naval Aviator - a test pilot - whose assignment seems mysterious. Clues point them towards Sheppard Industries where they encounter John Sheppard, PhD PhD.
