Summary
It's the night of November 18th, 20XX.
Tomorrow, Goro Akechi is going to enter another world with seven acquaintances and one Akira Kurusu, and betray them all. It'll make the first, and final, defeat for his one and only rival. He's been planning this for months, and it ends tomorrow night. He's been planning for his father's election for years, and it ends a month from now. So many endings, so soon, if only his well-rehearsed plans go off without a hitch.
It's just gone past eleven, and there's a knock on his apartment door.
It's a hitch.
It's the rival. -

Summary
Akira Kurusu, known and not well-liked in the Kanegawa racing scene, is out on the prowl at the biggest event to grace his mountain: The arrival of the near-mythical challenger of all Japan, The Red Prince. Akira isn't really interested. He's here for one thing, and one thing only; taking hard earned cash from bad racers. It's gonna be a lucky evening.
Almost on cue, the beautiful driver turns, revealing burgundy eyes rimmed with thick-set liner. As they pass over him, Akira’s stomach lurches and his heart stops.
He’s looking at Goro Akechi, five years later.

Summary
Akira doesn't know how he started having regular sex with Goro Akechi, TV celebrity and the very detective that's trying to hunt them down, but he is. Often, and never in bed. Goro never wants to have sex in bed--he always wants to have sex where they could be caught. A Phantom Thief meeting at the start of November just seems like the latest escalation.

Summary
As the Phantom Thieves battle to free themselves and the rest of the world from the blissful stupor of the new reality, a chilling revelation is laid on Akira about Akechi's fate during Shido's Palace. Reeling in the struggle between the two's differing wills on the matter, events are set in motion that reset the timeline to the beginning of the previous year. No knowledge of the trials and tribulations approaching remain for Akira, Akechi, or any of the Phantom Thieves.
Still the pair's desperate desires ring true, forgotten but not lost, and the smallest changes can have the largest effects.
“Were you ever going to tell me, Goro?” Akira's voice was whisper quiet, brittle like new frost.
“How could I? I had no proof; it was a theory. If I had known you would be like this, probably not,” his voice had picked up that goading edge again, like it was all going to fall back to normalcy.
“Go to hell. You know I’d have tried to work this out sooner! Now we have no time!”
“What would time have to do with any of this? It already happened.”

Summary
Goro and Akira have been dating for a little while now, post-Maruki, post-Shido, post everything that brought them together. Slipping into normal lives from the extraordinary comes with its pitfalls, but for Goro, that's been just about everything. Living is difficult when you're only practiced at surviving. He needs--no, wants to get a job, to move forward and this might just be the best chance yet, if only he can stop freaking out about it.
Akira has an idea about what might keep him calm.

Summary
After their reunion, Akira asks Goro if he wants to move in with him outside the dorms—an offer that Goro wholeheartedly accepts. It's perfect, it's everything they both wanted, but it lets them stay in their own little bubble too easily. A chance invite one evening will drag them back out. Back to where they're supposed to be living, into unexpected meetings both good and bad, into the parties they've been avoiding for too long.
“C’mon. It might be fun? At worst, it’s just another normal night out.”
“We have very different ideas of what constitutes fun, Akira. Surely the year I spent taking you to a single jazz club and repeatedly asking for chess and darts games taught you that?”
“Yeah, it taught me how much I love darts, chess and jazz.”
The smile that one-liner won him made him feel like a king.

Summary
Akira attends the introductory tour of his prospective new University, the only one that offered him a place in Tokyo post-Shujin. It's fine, small and low-key, just right for someone like him.
It's all very 'fine', perfect for the comfortable, humdrum life he's accepted, far from the reach of other worlds, thrilling heists and the deaths of people he cared about.
And then he sees someone studying in the gardens. Someone that shouldn't exist anymore. Someone he cared about.
