Veins popped from how hard she gripped the knife. Melon juice ran down the other. Dripped from her elbow. The floor was unvacuumed anyway.
Unannounced, he snuck past.

Sleepovers with Mob ended with Reigen pressed against the cold, hard wall, with a cold, hard Mob pressed against him.
But, even though both of them had gotten more fit—at the gym and through certain bed-bound activities—he still needed to breathe. A solid 20 cm of bed was still not enough for his lungs to expand.
They also needed to eat.

Late October. The tipping point where the sun can't beat the biting cold of the wind. Raw and wet. Not yet freezing. Inside the office, a warm safehaven, Reigen indulges in a cup of tea, warm in his hands.
As it brews, a tall man in a trenchcoat wanders into the office. Homely, hanging his clothes, taking off his winter hat to reveal a black mop of hair, ruffled from the wool. It hangs in his eyes. Thick bangs. Like curtains for his black eyes.
Huh.
Kind of reminds him of Mob.
