Doflamingo’s mouth went dry. Rosi straightened, hands behind his back, as if he were about to start rocking on his heels. He looked exactly the same as when Doflamingo had last seen him. Sweat and dirt-stained, clothes worn, that thumbprint of their father’s blood at the corner of his chin from where Doflamingo had touched him.
Rationally, it couldn't have been real. He still surveyed the islands across the North Blue and kept a tap on the local news, but had long stopped expecting anything. It had been seven years after all. At this point, Rosi was either dead or didn’t want to be found.
“No,” Doflamingo growled, “No, no, you don’t get to do this to me.”

Summary
The light overhead isn't from Minion island's overcast sky but instead a steel plated ceiling shining down fluorescence, glass and plastic bottles rattling on shelves against the walls. Everywhere there's monitors and familiar machinery and the distinct tang of antiseptic, sharp beyond the memory sense of blood and snow. For half a second Law looks at it all very blankly and thinks, What The Hell. Is he dreaming. Is he hallucinating. Is he just plain dead. His sight-line completes the rotation of this impossibility to fall upon speckled jeans and a long sweeping coat. And the man standing in front of Law has the blankest expression Law's ever seen. And the man standing in front of Law has Law's father's face.
Underneath Law's blood-slicked fingers, Cora-san's pulse shudders.
(This is a story where the past and the present collide. Wherein thirteen year old Trafalgar Law and twenty-six year old Rocinante tumble sideways through time-space via the blue desperation of a newly eaten devil fruit, from Minion island to a future distant. Right, unwittingly, onto the submarine deck of a another Law shortly after Doflamingo’s fall.)

At one point I desperately either wanted to pull my hair out or punch one - or both! of the idiots for being so darn...argh! But simultaneously wrap them into a blanket and make 'em hot cocoa and ease their hurting souls T^T
Well, I have a thing for those kind of stories anyway and it was a sweet kind of perfectly slow burning pain. haha
I also really liked Sam in here ('specially his speech at the end of chapter 6, was it? that was so Sam) and the characterization of actually everyone was spot on! Loved that Daphne, let's say without spoiling it too much, really came across kind and caring and like a human being - not just a means to create a conflict.
T'was a wild ride, kinda addicting *cough* read it in one go *cough* and it was a sweet pain with a happy ending, so 10 outta 10, I'd say. Totally would recommend.

Summary
For the prompt: Merlin kisses Arthur on the lips right after he says thank you. Merlin feels something pass from him to Arthur and then suddenly Arthur's body is suffused in bright light. Moments later Arthur awakens, his wound healed. Arthur doesn't realize Merlin kissed him, he just thinks he healed him somehow. At first Merlin believes he healed Arthur with his kiss, but soon he starts to suspect that what he passed to Arthur was, in fact, his immortality. Merlin worries Arthur will be angry when he finds out and deem this trespass unforgivable, an utter violation of his person, for who would want to live forever? And surely, if Arthur did want to live forever, he'd choose Gwen or even one of his knights with which to share that never-ending journey.
