And Hitoshi lets himself fall forward, knowing Eraser will catch him.
Lets himself break apart, knowing his dad will hold every piece until he’s ready to put himself back together.

A flame's breath from ignition, his combustion zone of a flat finally runs out of luck. Bakugou's told there's an apartment perfect for him, ready for him to move into. He's told his roommate is a bartender whose schedule isn't so different from Bakugou's. He's also told that there's a fully furbished kitchen and working fridge. No gas leaks. No rats.
A perfect– temporary– replacement.
What he's not told, is that his roommate is the same age as him, four inches taller than him, and that he has a voice that scrapes up the leftovers in Bakugou's stomach.
Bakugou is persistent in bringing the professional boundaries of his restaurant into their home. But between their synced routines, late night leftovers, and a fridge that finally fills up, something slow begins to simmer.

The omega bares his teeth. He only comes up to just past Shouto’s shoulders, as most people do, but the alpha gets the feeling that his aura normally makes him seem taller than he actually is. “And what of it, fucker?” His voice is gruff and cruel.
“Normally, that’d mean we’re a fated pair.” he responds, bluntly, wondering if his omega knows a kinder tone.
He doesn’t. “Oh yeah, asshole?”
“Uh… yeah.”
Todoroki Shouto doesn’t know when exactly it happens or why, because he’s high off the adrenaline of the moment at that point, but then he and his omega are on the floor engaged in a fist fight that would go down in UA history.
Yeah. Fated Pairs are normally unconventional.

Summary
Following Midoriya Izuku's death and suicide, Bakugou Katsuki finds himself lost. He doesn't recognize it at first. He just knows that he's suffocating. So what if he told the idiot to kill himself just hours before Dek-Izuku actually died? It wasn't his fault he actually followed through. He wasn't the one that pushed Deku off the building and into the fire.
But it was. It was his fault.
He killed Deku with his words.
Now what is he supposed to do? Can he really hope to be a hero when he's already killed someone?
