Summary
After her mother's death, the holidays were difficult for Julie. Just when she finally thinks she is ready to embrace them again she is slapped with a cruel disappointment that leaves her swearing off Christmas and it's supposed magic forever.
Luke has always loved Christmas, because it's literally magical for him and his family in a way most post people can't imagine. Unexpectedly he finds himself facing down a tight and dangerous deadline, with a nearly impossible solution.
Maybe fate will show both of them the real magic of the holiday season.

Julie Molina expected many things on her impromptu road trip to Texas. She expected Flynn to be confused but ultimately supportive; she expected to relax and gain a new perspective; and she expected (or at least hoped) to rediscover the music she’d lost over the past year.
