If you’d have asked Steve Harrington to describe his dream life, he would pretty much describe his exact life up until now. Sure, the college subsection of his plan never worked out but that was okay with him… mostly. Anyway, who needed college. He had the girl of his dreams, a decent (if not boring) job and a savings account with almost enough in to buy the cute little house on the corner of Maple Street that he and Nancy Wheeler had talked about since they were seventeen.
Well, all that was true until he found Nancy in bed with Jonathan Byers...

Summary
As Steve slowly drifted towards consciousness he found himself cringing at the extremely grating bleeping noise that had wormed its way into his dreams and woken him up. For a split second he assumed it was his alarm for work, but quickly brushed that that thought aside as he heard footsteps walking towards him and felt someone lightly squeeze his hand.
“Steve honey? Can you hear me?”
The voice didn’t sound like Robin or Nancy, the only two people who would ever be with him in his bedroom. Not that they would ever be caught dead calling him anything that nice. Nancy had never been a fan of pet names and Robin flat out refused to call him anything other than Dingus or shithead. Joyce would maybe call him honey, he mused to himself, but she’d never been to his house and it wasn’t her voice either...

When Steve has the mother of all seizures and wakes up in the hospital he has to figure out his place in a world where he isn't needed anymore. Oh and Eddie Munson lives in his basement, because that's his life now apparently.

Summary
Eddie Munson was supposed to meet his end after he finally refused to run so Max would live and Vecna could be destroyed once and for all. But then he woke up, and Eddie couldn't help but feel like he hadn't woken up in the afterlife. He should be dead. He was supposed to be dead. Eddie is dead, right?
So it was thought, my friends. So it was thought. But Eddie — lives.
A story where everything in the Upside Down comes to a conclusion, and Edward Munson and Maxine Mayfield emerge victorious. The Party saves a revived Eddie and Max, ending the threat that is Vecna once and for all, and Steve finds he never could get rid of Eddie's battle jacket.
