Summary
The Captain's Quarters is quiet. And more so, it's so, so awkward.
Sirus and Captain sit on the floor, a pillow placed underneath them both to keep their legs from being too uncomfortable. They sit with each other, Captain’s back to Sirus’s front. Sirus’s hands comb through the wing, paw pads feeling through the unfamiliar texture. His face is focused, eyes squinting with the tip of his tongue resting between his teeth as he picks at another pin feather. The brown to white spots become a familiar sight to him as he goes through, one cluster at a time, mumbling to himself before unraveling another.
