Till's eyes were closed yet his mind active, hazy and misty as if he'd been asleep for a long, long time. The back of his head felt strangely...warm, comfortable like a plush pillow, like threads of silk embalming his head. His teal eyes slowly blinked open to see someone's head and shoulders, everything felt extremely bright and it was hard to discern their appearance or details of their face, like staring at a person through frosted glass. They were seemingly humming a gentle tune, so whoever or whatever they were, they were safe.
''..Mom..?'' He mumbled without thinking, the word left his lips before he could think. His voice was hoarse, like he hadn’t used it in ages. The slow, rythmic hum ceased, the faceless mass slowly began gaining colors and stronger forms. Instead of a thin, fine face he was met with a strong, broad shoulders, a smile decorated with a crooked snaggletooth on its corner and soft black hair.
''Till?'' The voice asked. Ivan.

Till opened his mouth. “I hate you.”
“... I know.” Ivan’s voice was too small, almost got swallowed up by the wind.
“No, you don’t. You never understand.” And neither am I, to be honest. “I hate you because you annoyed me so much, you picked fights with me and threw insults without hesitation. You didn’t even consider us as ‘friends’. I hate that you always followed me anywhere like nothing happened after all that. Especially after the failed escape. I hate that you came back instead of running away by yourself that night. I hate, hate you so much when you … when you sacrifice yourself for me even though you didn’t have to.”
Till’s sight got blurry, his eyes felt hot and wet. “But I hate myself even more because I was the reason you chose that kind of shitty life. And I hate myself for only realizing it later after you were no longer there to be the object of my hatred.”
Suddenly, a pair of hands gripped his shoulders. Ivan stared at him desperately. “No, don’t hate yourself. Don’t blame yourself. Blame it all on me, hate only me. I don’t want to become the reason for your sorrow.”
“It’s too late for that isn’t it? Jerk.” Till sniffled.

"Are you ill?" Ivan says instead of Mizi switched pillows with Sua this morning, Till's cheek nestled on his shoulder. It must be grave. Life-threatening, even.
"Are you sick?" Till answers without looking, still sketching, sharp, precise lines. Far be it for Ivan to question the genius artist, creative re-interpretations were never his strongsuit, but even Ivan knows Mizi's glasses are not triangular. "You're the one who got warm all over."
Till is being... unusually clingy. For Ivan, it's a problem.
