Summary
“I’m sorry, Emily..” Mike whispers under his breath, his voice cracking as he pulls the trigger and shoots Emily in the eye. Her scream is cut off as she slumps against the wall, her mouth hanging open and her blank, lifeless gaze staring up at the ceiling.
Her body twitches one last time, letting out a gasp, the last breath from her open mouth before she stills completely. Emily’s blood is splattered on the wall behind her, leaving a grotesque sight that is hard to look at.
Eight friends go out to Blackwood Mountain, only six come back alive the next morning.

Matt makes it out of Blackwood Pines alive, only to realize his life can't ever be the way it was, not for him or anybody else. Everybody's hurt, some more obviously than others, and some more willing to accept the fact than he is. Everyone copes (or doesn't) in different ways. Emily makes herself scarce, Jess insists she doesn't need to get better, Chris channels his grief into anger and then silence, and nobody knows what's happened to Mike.
Matt wants to get better. He just has no idea how.

Summary
He’d thought he was tough shit as a teenager. For the most part, really, he guessed he was. He packed quite the punch, and was nifty with his hands. Stealing was second nature to him, especially after flunking all his cash out on booze and poker chips. He terrified the locals simply with his presence in the shadows of the bars he frequented. Adored their fear. But all it took to bring him down was one, single man, unafraid, and quite literally disgusted by him. A man, and his mess of a gang, of course.
OR
I take fanon ideas for Horangi (The idea he has 'tiger stripes', scarring) and give him a backstory based on artworks I've seen. A very, very violent backstory. Complete with König giving Horangi some well deserved comfort years later.
