After the death of Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-wan tells the Jedi council that it was his final wish for Kenobi to train Skywalker however instead of accepting this and allowing the newly knighted Jedi to train the boy they make him choose between the order and Anakin, Obi-wan who had dedicated his life to the Jedi can't desert The Order. Anakin is left on Naboo lost, with nothing to guide.

Cloud is rejected from the SOLDIER program. Dejected, he joins the infantry, since returning to Nibelheim isn’t an option. The feeling of failure weighs heavily on him, especially as he watches his idol from afar.
He wanted to fight by Sephiroth’s side so badly, but now it seems an unattainable dream. So Cloud thinks.
Then he finds himself alone with Sephiroth, and that small encounter changes everything.

Today might just be the day that Dick Grayson strangles his father with his own two hands. The entire family flew to Spain for the biennial Lucie Awards. Even Jason, who still refuses to come back to life, so he dresses in all black and acts as a ‘bodyguard.’ But hell, he was still there for Tim.Bruce said he still had work to do at Wayne Enterprises, which was mostly a cover to keep Batman constant, but promised the family that he would not miss the Lucie Awards short of death.
Well, time to tell if Batman is dead or not.
