Summary
At a deserted plain, full of dust, more dust, and a little more dust, two Wellston Royals argued. Not about the rebelling students, no, that was another issue entirely, but about the position of Jack.
Or…
The fork tradition is passed down one more year.

Summary
John wakes up to find he’s not in his dorm room. He’s not in anyone’s else’s, and he’s not at his house.
The student has clearly been kidnapped. How? Is the question that rings in in head on loop for an hour as he tries to find a way out.
Finally he realizes: His ability is useless right now, but his passive is not. Activating his ability, John finds there’s a person on the other side of the right wall, but he can’t find a way across.
"This is so annoying!" He screams into the black abyss and punches the wall. He doesn’t expect anyone to answer, so when he hears a voice yell back, John is suprised…
"Shut the fuck up, asshole!"
…but not more startled at the fact that that’s his voice. He activates his ability once again. Yep. That’s his aura. That’s his fucking aura, and it’s orange-blackness is shiny in all its shitty glory.
Lucky him. He’s seeing (feeling?) triple.
Wait. Why does he sound so young.
Or. John is trapped with his past selves. And then he’s not. And then he’s transported to the past. Spolier: The other two go to the future.

Summary
His breathing hitches when he reads a name on the map. Eyes lock on the building that caused, no. That forced him to experience true suffering for the first time.
‘Readjustment Facility’
"You good, John?"
"Yeah. Where are they being held?"
She frowns, like a teacher having to repeat herself one time too many. "Blyke is in the jail." Fuck. "And Arlo is in the readjustment facility." Double fuck.

Summary
John Doe is a lot of things, and sometimes he thinks he can add “Invincible” to that list.
Not because he has a strong ability, when he was younger he dreamed of having an ability, but John’s a cripple just like his dad.
After being tutored by Clai- some friends of his in English, he knows that the definition of invincible doesn’t only apply to the strong.
John has gotten back up every time a challenge is shoved in his face, taunted whatever it is, and never been broken.
Never, ever- what have I done, what have I done, what have I-,
“Look at me when I talk to you, insolent child.” His instructor, Keon, says, calm anger seeping through his words.
“You don’t know anything,” John takes a deep breath and stares right into the red-heads eyes, “Your just a fucking bitch-“
A hand grabs his head and slams it into the table.
Or; John is a cripple. John is definitely a cripple, he doesn’t have an ability. And the government is amazing.
