There's a new shopkeeper on Whickber Street! The newcomer is a comic book seller named Anthony Crowley, a flamboyant character who blasts heavy metal music at full volume, and whose shop is a chaotic mess. Far too boisterous for Aziraphale's delicate nerves.
Their two worlds will clash in the eternal battle between books and comic books. Aziraphale is determined to convert Crowley to the world of literature, a glaring gap in his life; Crowley, on the other hand, is set on broadening Aziraphale’s horizons by introducing him to the world of graphic novels.
