“I don’t have to,” he replied with a small smile, glancing over his shoulder at her. “You always do.”
She made a face but blushed faintly, turning back to the mirror. “Flattery will get you everywhere, Professor Lupin.”
“It’s Mr. Lupin tonight,” he reminded her softly, his voice tinged with something almost shy. “I’m not attending as anything else.”
Tonks paused, and the sound of her hairbrush slowed. The weight of his words, as her husband, settled warmly between them.Tonks receiving her ministry orders with Remus!
