Percy grinned, "Yeah, that's pretty much it."
James hesitated before looking down at his feet, "But ... Hermes has a lot of children more powerful and more popular than me. What would I even ask him for? It's not like he cares."
Maybe it was because Percy was reminded of that promise he wrangled from the gods at age sixteen, but one moment he was looking at the younger camper, and the next he was throwing some of his food into the fire and asking Poseidon for some Disneyland tickets very, very loudly.
But even though he wasn't quite sure how it happened, the small, shocked laugh that James let out made it worth it.

Percy sees that some of the newer campers don't feel 100% comfortable with requesting stuff from their godly parents, so he decides to rectify that the only way he knows how -- dramatically.

Beautiful story about friendship. I love how it's Tubbo's (platonic) love for Tommy is what saves him in the end, although this is based of "The Snow Queen" so that should be no surprise, lol.
Was surprised to see the amount of hits, I thought it would have been more! It deserves it!

This was beautiful, that's all I can say. I loved this, this story was amazing and made me cry so much (although so did Passerine, Butterfly Reign, and Tommyinnit's unbeatable method)

Summary
The royal family of Antarctic empire isn’t exactly close.
Emperor Philza is always occupied; Tommy hasn’t seen Techno in months, and even if Wilbur is here, their relationship can be described to be strained at best.
The royal family doesn’t need to be close, however, it only needs to be balanced, like the pillars holding the country above their heads – as long as they are strong and steady, the Empire will be too. It’s the principle that held Tommy’s back straight and his shoulders broad through the years of hardships and trials of errors; through yet another formal meeting where his father’s gaze would look past him and where his brother’s words would be filled with poison that makes the deepest parts of his soul ache.
At that time, Tommy couldn't know that his family would find a replacement for him in the face of a commoner boy named Ranboo.

I loved this, the first ever fanfic I ever read on ao3. Now that there is a much larger limit to bookmarks, I have decided to start bookmarking fics because I have never used this awesome feature before. Of course, this one had to be the first fic I bookmarked.
BTW, I have separated characters in these fanfics from their irl counterparts, so ya.
Also, I don't even watch any of the Dream SMP creators anymore
