Summary
There Ray goes, confusing Sand once again. His words and his actions portraying two completely different pictures.
Sand feels a lump form in his throat. He just wants to cry at this point. "Just let me do what I want to, Ray" He says, and then, "please"
And Sand is not sure if it is the alcohol or his heart that he sees Ray's expression softening at Sand's plea, a hint of sadness flickering in his eyes as he releases his grip on Sand's hand. He leans back slightly, giving Sand space while still keeping a watchful eye on him.
"Then, I will keep you company" Ray says softly, determined.
Immediate panic and concern fills Sand's entire body. "You have a court date tomorrow for drunk driving. You cannot drink!" Sand chides, ready to pull Ray away from the bar if he has to. No matter how drunk he is, Sand's top priority, no matter what happens will always be Ray.
Or: after sand and ray have the argument in episode 8, sand gets into an accident. ray loses his mind trying to find where sand is and what happened to him.

Summary
“If I’m going to say goodbye to you, I’m going to do it properly.” He tries to put real intention into it, fooling them both into believing that he has some kind of upper hand here.
“Okay,” Ray agrees immediately. “Anything, I’m yours.”
It’s not a confession. He knows it’s not. Still, overwhelmed, Sand bites down on the fresh mark he’s left under Ray’s jawline, loving the unresisting way he sways up into him, loving his shockingly tender hand on his neck, loving the way he knows his body, loving everything about him.
Closing his eyes, he eases himself down into this bad decision like he’s crawling into his own grave. Mine, he thinks.
After Halloween mistakes, half-baked apologies, and helpless reconnections, Sand struggles to untangle himself from Ray's life, and ends up back in his bed.
