    Now that Perceptor was well into his carriage, his sensory systems were being strained by the stress of carrying a sparkling that belonged to a mech comparatively larger than him. Once he had reversed his war upgrades, Brainstorm could wrap his hands around Perceptor's waist and still have room. As he grew the sparkling in his forge, Perceptor slowly filled out in the stomach and thighs, the excess minerals that he was ingesting that weren't going towards the growing protoform moved to cushion the parts of his body that held up the growing weight of the baby. Either way, Perceptor still fits perfectly in Brainstorm's hands.

He couldn't frag Perceptor; it would wake him up and cause them both to lose sleep, causing both a grumpy Perceptor and Brainstorm. An idea sprang into Brainstorm's barely awake processor.

    As Perceptor's pregnancy progresses, Rodimus started showing up more and more. He was shirking off Captaincy duties as always, but he was making sure that Perceptor was as comfortable while Brainstorm was away at the lab.

    The lights turned off with a hum, and the backup and ominous backup red lights turned on. Rodimus went to try his comms.

    "Hey, Captain here. Are the lights out for everyone?" He listened to the reply before a crackly announcement was heard through the loudspeakers across the ship.

    Attention, we are currently in a blackout. Engines are to return to full power soon; for now, doors and not functional, and you may be locked in your rooms. Apologies from the command team.

    Although the virtual reality games were impressive, Perceptor preferred simple role-playing.

    Now that the newspark had properly descended and was connected to the growing protoform inside his forge, he was getting too big to move around comfortably. Which inspired Brainstorm to call the berth Perceptor's 'throne', the place where he lazed during day cycles, reading datapads and conversing about lab events.

    Perceptor looked down and considered it. The visor was well-made and cleanly connected. It functioned on a wireless connection and was powerful enough to take control of the subconscious. Brainstorm somehow got it Rung approved.

    Perceptor sighed, leaning into Brainstorm, "Fine, we can try it out. How does it work?"

    Brainstorm lit up, excited to use the machine.

    He woke up this time leaning over something, hands restrained down by his hips, and his head hanging down. He was stuck in what seemed to be a hole in the wall. The position felt far too revealing, his aft was sticking out, and he couldn't see what was going on behind him. Perceptor squinted his eyes as he tried to find any details in the dark room, finding that he could see nothing.

    Brainstorm kept on holding Perceptor, hushing and swaying with every renewed sob that ran through his shaking body. Time fell still as the couple held each other, reveling in the sudden and life-changing factor of their relationship.

    He was thrown out of his musing by the sound of sharp pain, a small arc of pain thrown through the weak bond between his and Brainstorm's spark. Perceptor quickly whipped his head to where he heard Brainstorm, and found him holding his hand as it bled bright red down his arm. One of the locals was apologizing profusely, waving their thorned hands around. Perceptor had walked over to inspect Brainstorm's injury before he could even think about moving. The wound was superficial, having nicked an area of the hand that tended to bleed heavily. If Brainstorm kept his hand clean, then the healing process would be fast.

    Fuel pump processing is slower, resulting in delayed processor speeds, and more time is spent in recharge rather than being awake. Waking up in the mornings had become an arduous task, as his body worked against him, slowly managing tasks that he usually completed in seconds.

    When Brainstorm got out of the berth this morning, Perceptor cried. --AKA an unsexy event where Perceptor's body need new calibration, and he feels much better.
