Summary
It’s overtaken his life; he’s become overwhelmingly distracted with it, worrying about when it will happen next, if Zoro is nearby, whether or not it has finally died down at all (it has yet to… not even once). The mere sight of the mossy deposits just floods him with the image of Zoro’s mossy hair, and his feelings slam into him tenfold every time.
He couldn’t accept that his feelings would never go away, though, because that meant really and truly he had no other choice but to just die.
And how ironic would it be for love, the thing he lives for, to be the thing that kills him?

Sanji chokes loudly, hurtling into a coughing fit that brings tears to his eyes. “What?” He sits up fully and faces Zoro, eyes wide in horror.
Zoro’s expression does not change. He continues like what he’s saying is the most obvious thing in the world. “I want to marry you. So let’s do it.”-
In which Sanji has the perfect plan to propose to Zoro, until the swordsman manages to derail everything in an instant.

Summary
Sanji raises his eyebrows and blinks several times, feigning surprise. The ladies giggle, and Zoro smirks. The damn mosshead was eating it up, eager to revel in Sanji’s embarrassment, but the blond man does not give him that satisfaction. On the contrary, he shows consideration for Zoro’s comment, causing the brute’s smirk to morph into something akin to nervousness. Sanji’s glazed eyes scan over the swordsman’s body. He places a gentle hand on the man’s chest, eyes downcast and unfocused. Zoro’s body tenses up immediately, his cheeks flushing an intense red.
“You know…” Sanji starts quietly, looking up at Zoro and trying to ignore his own pounding heart, “you’re not wrong.”
He pushes past Zoro, leaving him with the beautiful, now surprised ladies.

“Alright,” Sanji leaned forward, steepling his fingers in his lap as he flashed Zoro an impish grin. “If you’re so sure, how about we make it a bet?”
Zoro perked up, responding to the competitive twist in his tone. The hairs on his arms were already standing on end, his skin prickling with goosebumps at the thought of another chance to put the prissy bastard in his place. “What kind of bet?”
Sanji tapped the end of his pen against his lips, looking smug and over-confident in a way that had Zoro’s combative side swelling instinctively against the challenge. “Using what I know about you from the unfortunate times we’ve spent together. I’ll plan a date I think you’ll enjoy.”
Zoro blinked, taken aback. “You’re gonna take me on a date?” He asked incredulously.
“We’ll call it a practice date."
