Summary
Victor Frankenstein, haunted by the death of his mother Caroline, still sinks into discovering the secret of life, but not to prove he can make life from death. Oh, no. He does this because he wants to share the same feverish love Caroline had for him and his brothers.
He wants to be a mother, gender be damned. Everything goes well leading up to that dreary November night, he sees his darling Adam shudder awake. But exhaustion soon claws at his mind and Victor passes out, leaving Adam to think his creator fainted from sheer terror.
Driven to anger at being rejected by society, Adam grows jaded and bitter, still burning the De Lacy's cabin. Mother and Son meet up in the Arctic much sooner, where Adam learns that his creator genuinely just wants his baby back.

Summary
Being compared to a maiden by the Lord of Storm's End definitely wasn't what Dunk expected when he was invited into the tent of House Baratheon. Having wandered around aimlessly eventually lead him to a tourney. With no family left after Ser Arlan of Pennytree passed away, Dunk finds solace in Lyonel Baratheon offering guidance.
Despite Dunk's tall stature and strength, the young man is sweet and shy. Knowing that Dunk has nowhere else to go once the tourney ends, Lyonel invites Dunk back with him to Storm's End. After all, the Stag protect their own.

This is a fix-it of sorts, but also an exploration of Victor, and I write him like the messy bitch he is so buckle in for unreliable narration, repression and denial, selfish empathy(?), and mommy issues.
There WILL be The Creature x Victor, and Victor does essentially raise him through the first bit of this fic, so if that squicks you out, get out now or open your mind to ineffable and immutable connections that transcend social concepts of relation, especially when one part of the relationship is only vaguely human.

Summary
Einar, the new slave assigned to Ketil's farm, begins to take notice of a small, meek boy named Thorfinn. After an altercation with farmers leads to Thorfinn getting seriously injured, it is up to Einar to take care of his friend and ensure it doesn't happen again. But what Einar doesn't realize is that Thorfinn has a past far darker than anything he could have imagined. And perhaps the boy does not deserve to be taken care of at all.
Basically, allowing Thorfinn to be soft and FINALLY having someone take care of him because he deserves it. Mixed with a bit of angst to make things more interesting ;)
