"I stole your brother’s crown," Tommy spat, his breath ragged. "I tried to steal your mother’s necklace. I cursed you out. I ran away—over and over again." His voice cracked, frustration spilling into something almost desperate. "So why the hell would you fucking care?"
Technoblade tilted his head, considering. Silence stretched between them. Then, with the certainty of someone stating a fact as simple as the sky being blue, he answered.
"You shine like the sun."
Tommy blinked. He let out a short, incredulous laugh—half-broken, half-breathless. "I’m literally the worst fucking person you could pick to care about."
"And yet, I do."

Summary
Alex wasn't really special, he was just like every normal young adult in their early twenties. He worked as a cashier in a grocery store and somehow managed to make a living in a small apartment. He mostly games to pass his days and nights, so it was safe to say his family wasn't all that proud of him.
But will his life remain so normal when he suddenly finds himself standing as one of the last humans on their planet?
Will his life remain boring when he finds out about mystical beings, powers, and magic?
Will his life remain safe when more than half of the hybrids and magical beings have it out to kill the human species, people like himself? And when he finds allies who help him along the way in finding the solution to saving the human race, will it all work out as he expects it to?
