Summary
Denise Verstappen has spent the last four years doing two things: winning literally every badminton title in existence and curating an extensive folder of Maxiel edits on her laptop. (Approximately four thousand. For research. She's very normal about it.)
Now she's retired, finally attending her first F1 race, and fully prepared to observe her favorite internet ship in its natural habitat.
What she is not prepared for:
1. Being physically accosted in a hotel hallway by a very aggressive hobo with an alarming beard
2. Accidentally putting said hobo on a wall
3. The way the hobo keeps looking at her like she's the most entertaining thing he's encountered all year
4. The way her brother keeps looking at the hobo like he's not sure whether to be doting or to strangle him
5. The way her best friend Charles Leclerc keeps exchanging looks with said hobo with a shared look of commiseration to each other.
6. The Verstappen siblings being clueless regarding anything but racing.
Or: Denise came for the Maxiel content. She didn't expect to become part of the story.
