Summary
When Josh is arrested for the murders of three people and sent to Beacon Mental Hospital for a psych-evaluation, his close friends band together in order to break him out and clear his name. However, when they encounter a white robed burn victim, they are forced to split up. As they explore the hospital, horrifying and gruesome secrets come to light, and all hope of ever escaping is sliced away. They soon realize that death is an all too real possibility as they search for Josh, and the forces that drew him into the hospital may be far stronger than they had originally anticipated, with far bigger plans than any of them could ever imagine...

Silence used to be peaceful for Bucky. These days it makes him feel like he's waiting for something, like he's listening for the warning sounds of predators approaching.
Now silence means he's waiting for the other shoe to drop.
He lives in a beautiful apartment with his husband-to-be and tells himself that everything is just fine. He doesn't sleep, he's scared of putting a foot wrong in case Brock snaps again, and he's desperately lonely, but he has everything he ever wants and that should be enough. It's not like he can complain about being taken care of, even if parts of it aren't exactly his choice.
Running into his childhood friend (literally) just might change everything. 'Just fine' doesn't seem like enough once Steve walks back into his life. The problem is, Bucky's been stuck in his cage for so long that he's not sure he can leave it on his own.

Brock Rumlow was sleek and caring and kind and oh so doting on Steve when they first met. He'd sauced him up, told him he was pretty little thing that just needed to be taken care of. And Steve believed him. He moved in with Brock not even two months after knowing him, starved for so much affection and so willing to let it happen. Brock sent him to a proper school with proper art supplies, and bought him all of the nicest things he could ever ask for. Steve didn't know where he got the money from, and truth be told he didn't really want to know. But for the time being in those rose tinted four months, life was good and it wasn't as shitty as it had started.
But then, reality came crashing down. Steve stumbled in late one night after closing up for his professor and witnessed something he shouldn't have.
From that moment on Steve Rogers was nothing but a phantom and a whisk of a memory until the day that Bucky Barnes stepped into his life.
