Summary
Prologue: The secrets of the Playtime Company are deep-seated in the earth. Experimentations, torture, coercion and murder were everyday occurrences. It took the Hour of Joy to end one horror and replace it with another. Death became the only true Salvation, the only true Freedom. But they say sometimes a place so rooted in darkness, fear and pain can bring the attention of greater forces to it; and something out there in the universe decided a long time ago that second chances at a good life was well deserved.
Summary: When DogDay died after being taken over by the mini-Critters, he thought that was the end. But he was surprised when he opened his eyes again to a new world, so familiar to the one he was trapped in, but also so much freer and safer. It's a world where the children of Playtime Co were given a second chance to live, without the tortures of their previous lives. As more characters join their new world, tendrils from the old one reaches in and threatens to destroy their lives once more. It is up for the tortured souls of Playtime to make another stand against the forces that threaten their happiness and peace.

Summary
Being a sentient cartoon character isn't always easy. You have a role you have to play. And you get no say in many things. But having others by your side makes things easier. At least that's how DogDay sees it. And with the introduction of Catnap things had just been better.

Año 1995. Theodore ha fingido acostumbrarse a la vida en la Guardería. Durante todos estos años no se ha dado cuenta de lo cercanos que se han vuelto él y el resto de experimentos, o más bien, él y Dogday.
Sus sentimientos por el chico son confusos, sí, pero tampoco se complica en entenderlos, son muy diferentes después de todo. Y el Prototipo espera.

Summary
The Shishigumi have devastated the barren desert town of Cherry for years on end, the proceeding manhunt reaching a standstill. In the midst of their reign, a local soup salesman is found disemboweled in the lobby of a hotel, presumed to be their work. Something about it doesn't sit right with the newly appointed deputy, who seeks out a reclusive journalist to assist in finding the real killer. Along the way, unforeseen discoveries turn what should have been a simple murder case into something far more complicated.
