The twelfth birthday of a child is one of the most important in their life, as they will finally be able to shift for the first time into their animal form.
But sometimes, things don’t go as expected.
Maybe it is genetics, maybe it is a physical issue, or maybe it is trauma, but some children aren't able to shift at all either for years or even for life.
As Bruce reaches his twelfth birthday, he not only has to face this milestone without his parents who died years ago, but he also learns he is shiftless. And the high society of Gotham does not take kindly to shiftless individuals.
Now, how will he deal with this fact? How is life as a shiftless person? Will he learn to be ok with it? Will it influence his relationships with his family?
As time goes by, Bruce's family grew bigger despite the tragedy that struck him in his youth, and the man does his best given his condition to be there for them.

Clark muttered, and lowered his face into Bruce's shoulder, letting himself take in Bruce's presence.
Bruce spoke again, and he kept his gaze directed forward as he stared mindlessly at the streets below, ".. I should move. It's been too quiet here."
"I haven't seen you since this morning. Can you stay for just another moment?" Clark complained and he unconsciously wrapped himself tighter around Bruce, ignoring the hard armor against him.

Bruce Wayne has been Batman for a few months now, and while it’s going great for police and crime rates, there’s been some questionable things said by witnesses.
He comes in the night.. a horrible monster! Human.. thing? Big scary ghost coming to eat people?! Who knows?
Bruce does, and he’s secretly thriving in it. Maybe he’ll play into this one. Oh, and possibly collect a few children on the way.
A comedy mixed with some angst, a story of creating his own family that would make his parents proud.
