“Alec I’m home! I brought us some Bánh mì from that place in Hanoi,” Magnus called as he stepped through the portal into their loft in Brooklyn. “Alexander?” He called again when his boyfriend didn’t respond.
Magnus dropped the food off in the kitchen and made his way through the living room into the hall that led to the bathroom and bedrooms. He could hear something faintly and assumed Alec was working out. Magnus smiled at the idea of walking in on his boyfriend sweaty from his Shadowhunter training, Alec’s toned body gleaming with sweat was one of Magnus’ favorite visions.
Or the one where Magnus comes home to find Alec being way too sexy while doing laundry.

“Just one drink.” Magnus asked with a grin as he snapped his fingers, a glass of something appearing in Alec’s hand. He looked down at the drink before vanishing it with an eyeroll.
“You always do this. You appear every couple of decades... aren’t you tired being rejected?” Alec asked as he tilted his head to the side.
“We both know it’s only a matter of time before you give in.” The man said with a smirk as he took a step closer to Alec, close enough so he could smell the man’s cologne.
“I wouldn’t be so sure. But suit yourself.” He said threw gritted teeth as he tried not to inhale the intoxicating scent.
“I have time.. in fact.. I have forever.” He said with a wink as he ran a finger around the rim of his glass, the light catching on his rings. Alec felt his heart beating faster at the sight of the black, painted nails.
“Well.. I guess it’s going to be a long lonely life for you then. Good night Bane.” He said before turning around and leaving the man behind.

Shen Yuan furrows his eyebrows together and returns his focus back to the task at hand, ignoring Luo Binghe’s soft laughter. “I didn’t promise you anything,” he huffs, a little annoyed. “I only sent you out to collect Drakesbane. That’s hardly a task at all.”
“Hm, true, I suppose,” Luo Binghe hums, suddenly nonchalant. “But don’t you think you should thank me in some way?” he prompts with a yawn, revealing those perfect white fangs and his pink maw. “It’s the little things that count, no?”
Shen Yuan needs to thank his familiar properly for all the help he's received but unfortunately in Luo Binghe's language, that means thanking him with his body.
