Summary
On that fateful night in October 1981 Regulus Black saves James Potter, but wasn’t fast enough to save Lily too. After James gets over the shock of seeing his assumed dead ex-boyfriend he buried Lily, then with the promise that Regulus will explain everything later, they grab Harry and run to a Black family home in France. It’s there that they live and raise Harry in secret under the fidelius charm where Regulus himself is the secret keeper. The entire world thinks that they are dead, the only people who know the truth are none other than the Malfoys. When it’s time for Harry to go to Hogwarts the wizarding world is shocked to see the boy alive, but even more so when The Boy Who Lived is sorted into Slytherin.

Hermione Granger is excited to return for her 7th and final year of schooling. She is Head Girl, she has a plethora of N.E.W.Ts to study for, but she also is determined to have a fun year. She also has to learn to be amicable with Draco Malfoy, who, of course, has been assigned Head Boy. Determined to prove that Hermione is capable of balancing her work load and able to have fun, a bet forms between her and Draco - Once a week Hermione and Draco will do one fun thing that Draco decides on, and once per week they will study how Hermione studies, whoever obtains higher N.E.W.T scores at the end of the year, the other person's method of studying wins.
Are they able to form an unlikely alliance or will the inevitable war rip them apart?

Draco Malfoy is a Squib. He's never been able to do any magic, and nobody should know he exists. So why is there an unidentified group out to kidnap him? Who are they? What do they want with the Squib son of an ex-Death Eater? Just how does Lucius Malfoy fit into the picture?
And most of all, why does Harry find himself unable to stay away from Draco Malfoy?
