Summary
Starts out as Adrienette.

Enemies to lovers, slowburn.Loosely based on the events of Season 5, but later starts straying away from canon.
A mix of angst, hurt, comfort and moments of fluff.
Marinette reflects back on the events that took place during the night of the Diamond Ball. Nobody trusts Felix, for obvious reasons, but Marinette can't help but hope that there is a chance he could change. When Felix joins them in school, things start taking a turn for the worse....or better? It's all a matter of perspective.

Summary
Marinette froze, – eyes wide open in horror, – staring in her enemies eyes that only sparkled in surprise.
He slowly took the last step separating them and leaned towards her face, – one hand resting on the wall behind her. “I could be your worst enemy.” He said softly, as if he was offering her the sweetest dessert instead of threatening to ruin her life. “I could be the best ally you could wish for.” He continued, leaning a little closer so that the distance between their faces was significantly reduced. “I could even be your personal Adrien Agreste, little ‘I-love-you’-fangirl…”
Suddenly, a lilac glow flared around Argos, and Felix Fathom was standing in front of her, looming over her and pressing close to her face. “But what I WILL be, is your man.”

Summary
After she accidentally trips into Adrien and apologizes about "falling for him," Marinette learns that he's no match for cheesy pick-up lines--whether they were unintended or not. And while she finds it flattering that he turns into a flustered mess with only a few words, Marinette comes to regret making him uncomfortable. That is, until she learns he's Chat Noir. At which point the phrase "just deserts" becomes a permanent fixture in her everyday plans.
A story in which Adrien is flustered, Marinette is smooth as glass at dropping lines, and Chat Noir gets the romance he was always asking for--even if he doesn't quite know how to handle it.

Bruce swallows past the almost-truth of it. In Clark's warm smooth radio voice, it sounds plausible. It sounds like something that could happen.
