Summary
Setting: 1919s Rouen, France. The scars of the Great War (and the supernatural influence of the Storm) linger over the landscape. （︶^︶）
The Protagonists:
Marianne Ténébrun (Sentinel): A Gargoyle Demon of the Ténébrun lineage. Once the "Sentinel" of the battlefield, she is now a recluse in a wheelchair, one eye blinded by trauma and physical injury. She lives in a state of "refined madness," tending to her greenhouse and her black cat, Mallows, while speaking a mix of biting French and weary English.
Marsha Rosenhart: A former knight turned medic with amnesia. Sent by the Church and the German military command as part of a peace treaty, she is tasked with being Marianne’s maid, nurse, and spiritual cleanser.
The Conflict: Marianne wants to rot in peace; Marsha is too stubborn to let her. Between flying teacups, French insults, and the mysterious "Demon energy" clinging to the house, the two must navigate a world that no longer has a place for soldiers. (≧∀≦)ゞ

Summary
A dramatic recounting of the story of the Blight as experienced by a pair of French soldiers of the 1st Infantry Division. Jean-Lucien Dufort is a neurotic officer, eager to prove himself due to his rising of the ranks quite early for his age. Nestor Le Sueur is his foil, a rather petulant rifleman with little to loose and a mouth that will only trouble him. By the Grace of God, they will prevail, but not without incessant loss and self-discovery that only being broken down to your core can achieve. The ability to perceiver in the face of insurmountable odds is the way of the Blight, and they will be tested.
It is up to whatever God brought this upon them if they survive.
