Summary
After years of torture and pain, Grian finally escapes the clutches of the Watchers. He crash lands on a strange server, injured and panicked. But the players are hunting him, and he’s too weak to fight back. He resigns himself to a life of running and hiding.
Scar is a little mesmerized by the stranger that had forced its way onto Hermitcraft. Everyone seems convinced it’s hostile, but the few interactions Scar’s had with it seem to say otherwise. Maybe it just needs a friend?
_______OR these two traumatized idiots slowly (and I mean SLOWLY) fall in love while trying to recover from their messy pasts. But pasts aren’t something you can just run away from; especially in their cases.
There’s other relationships explored as well, but my Scarian heart has to make these two the center of the story.

Summary
The door to the rest of the shop clicked then swung open. Grian turned to it immediately, a desperate chirp bursting from his lips without any consideration to how it might harm him. He just needed someone. Anyone. It didn't have to be flock anymore. He just needed a person, someone to hold him, someone to pet his feathers and soothe his crying instincts. Please.
A masked figure approached the cage, one of the shopkeepers, and they scoffed at him for a moment, standing just far enough beyond the bars that Grian couldn't reach them. He strained, stretching through the iron. All he wanted was a touch. Just a brush of fingers or....or something. Anything. Anything to keep him from falling apart, anything to stop him from being so alone.
The shopkeeper tossed a bag through the bars of the cage, then turned around and left without saying a word. Grian ignored it, pressing himself tightly up against the bars, chirping over and over and over again, begging them to come back, to stay with him. He couldn't be alone. Scared-alone-stay-stay-stay-please. But they ignored him. They always ignored him.

Summary
The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Grian is a vet. After a chance encounter in the dead of night, during which he accidentally saves a villain from the brink of death, he suddenly finds himself entangled in a world beyond anything he could've ever imagined.

Summary
“What do you want?” The intense eye contact Scar was getting was starting to get uncomfortably long.
“I came to study the architecture of the temple” He felt compelled to answer honestly.
“You didn’t come for me?” the man’s suspicion dropped slightly and a bit of genuine confusion slipped past the man's guarded demeanor.
“No?” The more the blonde spoke the more confused Scar got “why? do you need rescuing, rapunzel?” he waggled his eyebrows and laughed awkwardly to hide his puzzlement
“What?” the suspicion fell completely and left the man looking dumbfounded.
There was a beat of silence, the four wings folded back behind him before the man spoke again. This time he sounded almost relieved if not doubtful
“you have no idea who I am, do you?” when Scar shook his head in confusionOr Scar breaks into an old temple, not knowing it was still inhabited by the god it was made for.
