Keigo's been working at Sanguine Suds for a few years, quite happily; the regulars are nice and it's seen as a neutral ground for all the supernatural creatures in the city, so he doesn't get a lot of trouble. When a new regular, Dabi, starts coming in Keigo takes quite the shine to him and they really hit it off. Unfortunately, it's seems like they've misunderstood a few key facts about each other...

“Dad!” Eri exclaims, from her perch on the counter. She’s holding a Hawks mug in both hands—a mug the man himself gifted to Shouta, and which Shouta promptly shoved into the back of a cupboard despite swearing he would throw it out—and has flour smeared on her face. Hawks is standing near her, leaning against the counter, while Tensei is seated in his wheelchair at the table, mixing something in another mug, this one with the name of Hizashi’s radio show printed on it in bright lettering.

Members of the Creature Rejection Clan have infiltrated the PLF. To root them out, Toga comes up with the great plan of having Dabi and Hawks lure them out by being more obvious about their relationship in public. A PLF lieutenant debasing themselves with a heteromorph? Surely the CRC traitors will show their hand and target Hawks. What could possibly go wrong?
And thus Hawks ends up working an undercover mission for the PLF while technically already undercover at the PLF. Never a dull moment in his life.

Summary
Dabi wakes to the incessant sound of Hawks’ hero phone ringing and the sleep-addled voice of the man himself answering it. After a few seconds of drifting in and out of consciousness, his brain catches up with what is happening, and his eyes snap open. On the other end of the line, he can hear one of the hero’s annoying sidekicks sheepishly explaining their ‘dire’ situation. In a second, Dabi launches himself from his pillow towards the offending device, a startled Hawks screeching as he is tackled, the phone plucked from his hands.
“It’s Hawks’ day off,” Dabi hisses before ending the call.

It's Hawks' first day off in what seems like forever, and Dabi, who is tired of watching Hawks run himself into the ground, is determined to make sure the day is uninterrupted, even if that means playing hero.
