Every night of March 21st to March 22nd, for 12 straight hours, led by the New Founding Fathers of America, The Purge takes place. To the common people, the spring equinox symbolizes their right to let out all of their anger and sin as they desire, to cleanse themselves of evil. But to the rich, they know the true purpose: to cleanse their land of "leeches."
Remembering life before the Purge, before the Fathers, she clings onto a simplier time, and her hopes for a kinder, happier world without violence.
But she's about to have her whole world turned upside down when he shows up in her life on that fateful night. He's about to show her the importance of their class system, and how this country works. He's about to show her their proper places in the world.

That was until you got transferred to the 141, found people you resented caring for, people who wanted to know you, people who treated you like family and not as a means to an end. You tried to tell yourself there's no room for that on the battlefield but somehow things changed and now you don't know where to go, how to fix it, how to get back to the life you once found comfort in. But maybe that life no longer could exist with the 141 in it.
TLDR: Slowburn story of our beloved reader entering the 141 as a hardened soldier and the 141 breaking down those barriers, falling in love and being a BAMF while doing it!

This is honestly just my homage to all the walking red flags in TWD - biggest fattest crush on Negan though.
Mina meets Negan when she's 17 before the turn. She lies to Negan in the beginning about her age (so there is a bit of heavy petting but no sex when she's still a minor). When Negan finds out Lucille has cancer, he seeks comfort in Mina who has turned 18. There's a LONG spicy chapter where they don't know if their feelings are completely misplaced due to their own baggage. Mina and Negan lose touch over the years. The turn happens, Mina fights to survive, coming across many villains, maybe becoming a villain in her own right and eventually settling into Alexandria. Negan and Mina meet when Negan comes to terrorize Alexandria. He takes her back, hoping to make her one of his wives. Mina refuses and continues to act out, testing his patience. He lets her work for points while tormenting her. Over time, Mina views Negan as morally grey - just like her.
Eventual happy ending, but you'll just have to read to see for yourself!
**The OFC will have a number of other relationships before she is only sleeping with Negan.**
