Okay, so this is just a really short snippet. Throughout the entire show, I've just wanted there to be more strong female characters who resembled the ones that I know in real life; women who do what needs to be done and can make the hard decisions, but still know how to lead and nurture and cultivate healthy family lives. So this is a story about a woman I imagined who knew Thalia, and whose pack was friends with the Hales', who helped Derek and Laura escape after the fire. She loved Thalia like a sister and loves her children as if they're her own.
She hates Peter, though.

You knew his work was important to him, loved how intelligent he was and how much he cared, but you wanted nothing more than to push the papers to the side and seat yourself in front of him. All three of you had promised to keep your schedules open this weekend to spend time together in a way that your busy lives often didn’t allow. It was a Saturday night so he wasn't worried about work the next day, the crux of this episode is still far away, if he plays it right he could avoid a breakdown. Otherwise-
Frank flinches at his phone ringing, the sound reverberating too loudly in the quiet of the night, still on edge. His fingers flex over the wheel, slowing the car slightly as he picks the phone up.
Not a lot of people have this number, only Matt and a few co-workers, the latter unlikely to call at this time. Which only left Matt.
“Red ?” He couldn't quite curb the concern in his voice.
“Hey frank…” Matt sounded out of breath. “Hope I didn't wake you up ?”
